RN ICU Nights at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski summary:
The RN ICU Nights is responsible for providing nursing care under the supervision of the Head Nurse, focusing on assessing patient needs and developing care plans. This role requires a minimum of six months of nursing experience and proficiency in essential nursing skills, while maintaining current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. The ideal candidate will have a BSN and demonstrate a commitment to patient care in a critical care environment.
Description:
Under the direct supervision of the designated Head Nurse, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care. Shares responsibility for individual patients or an entire patient population.Qualifications:
Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse.
Required Skills
Demonstrated proficiency of 50 percent of the skills required for Level II.
Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR current or within 30 days of hire
ACLS current or within 1 year of hire
PALS current or within 1 year of hire
Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Class within in 1 year of hire
Required Licenses
Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
