• Employment Type: TravelPS Companies is seeking an experienced Cardiac PCU RN for an opening based in Evansville, IN. This is a full time 13 week travel contract position. Float Requirements: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY - 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. Required Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, etc.). PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubes. Patient Population: High acuity - Tele/M/S, Cardiac heavy, (Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks), heart cath without interventions. CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post ablations, dialysis. Requirements include, but are not limited to: Active IN RN License. 2+ years Med Surg Tele experience Travel experience Trauma Level 2 experience Epic & CUPID experience BLS (AHA) Certification ACLS (AHA) Certification NIH Certification Ability to clear a drug screen/background check.
