  • Job Details
  • Experience with vascular surgery population, including AAA repair, carotid endarterectomy, fem-pop bypass, thrombectomy, and post-thoracic surgery.
  • Experience with EVAR, intra-aortic balloon pump, and TAVR.
  • Ratios: 1:2-3 for unit patients, 1:4-5 for step-down acuity.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as RN, 1 year travel experience required.
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
  • Must stay within 30 minutes of facility in case of emergency.
    • Job Requirements
    • State licensure: KY/Compact in hand.
    • Travel experience required.
    • Must have surgical and cardiac experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • Length: 13 weeks.
      • Orientations every Monday.
      • Guaranteed hours per facility standard.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Assessment tools: Stroke signs/symptoms competency (ex. BE-FAST).
        • NIHSS Certified (current certificate on file, obtained within 2 years of start date).
        • Familiar with current stroke guidelines and performance measures for acute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes.
          • Additional Details
          • First-timers not accepted.
          • Open to accommodating block schedule, but cannot promise.
          • Locals accepted within 65-mile radius restriction.
          • Pending license accepted on a case-by-case basis.
          • RTO restrictions will be reviewed case by case.
